Hi! I’m Amanda and Welcome to Body Mechanik.
How are you feeling today?
Your body tells you a lot, if you take the time to actually listen to it. With guidance, your body has the ability to do a lot of healing on its own – it just needs to be shown how.
Are you tired of aches and pain and limited movement?
Are you ready to take back control of your health?
Are you willing to teach your body how to heal itself?
Do you want to know how you can improve your health?
Let’s get started by booking your appointment today.
"I compassionately coach, educate and empower people, to take back control of their body through a better understanding of how it works, leaving them with the ability to lead a healthier life."
All my life, I have had a passion for people and helping them to see their true potential. I believe that pain is not just a part of getting old, or a product of an active life – it is your body’s message to you that something’s up.
My years playing ringette provided a platform for me to grow and led me to pursue an Honours Bachelor Degree in Kinesiology from the University of Waterloo and a career in Osteopathy, graduating from the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy. Body Mechanik Classical Osteopathy was born through my desire to return with my husband Jose, to the small community I grew up in and help my friends and neighbours achieve better health and wellness.
Everyone can benefit from osteopathy.
Osteopathy uses a drug-free, non-invasive form of manual medicine that focuses on the health of the whole body, not just the injured or affected part, for all stages of life – infants, teens, adults and seniors. With treatment, patients can see a resolution of symptoms, while treatment can also be preventative and/or palliative.
What to Expect After Your Treatment
Osteopathic treatment doesn’t stop when you leave the clinic. The effects will continue up to a week after as your body adjusts. We will often give you advice as to simple things you can do for maximum benefit when you leave the clinic such as:
Go for a leisurely walk around the block before you get in your car
Eat healthy, nourishing food
Get a good night’s sleep
Listen to your body
We're located by the beautiful Grand River in downtown Fergus!
