COVID-19 PROTOCOLS

Government authorities are directing all Ontarians to practice social distancing, wear masks outside the home, and practice other COVID-19 preventative measures such as the following:

​

  • Wash hands with soap for a minimum of 20 seconds (the amount of time it takes to sing ‘Happy Birthday’)

  • Avoid all non-essential travel, essential being trips to the grocery store, pharmacy, or to medical appointments

  • Avoid contact with people outside of your household

  • Maintain a distance of at least 2 meters from others in public

  • Cough and sneeze into your arm or elbow

  • Stay home if you’re feeling unwell or are experiencing ANY symptoms, have come in contact with anyone who has tested positive and/or have come in contact with anyone that has had symptoms of COVID-19. Please contact us immediately to reschedule your appointment to a later date.

Preparing for Your Appointment

 

24 hours prior to your appointment you will receive a COVID-19 screening questionnaire via email, please complete this online questionnaire before coming to your appointment.

Upon Your Arrival at Our Clinic

 

  • Kindly arrive only a few minutes prior to your appointment. 

  • It is required that you wear a mask, if you can bring one that is appreciated, if you do not have one, one will be provided for you to wear during your appointment

  • Bring only necessary items into your appointment. Please turn off your cell phone, remove belts and extras from your pockets etc. and place these items in a grey bin which will be sanitized after each appointment

  • After removing your shoes at the door, please have a seat in the open treatment room. Please sanitize your hands upon arrival.

Safety Procedures and Protocols

​

I am:

  • Wearing a mask and face shield that are changed after every patient

  • Sanitizing the tables, personal effects bins and chairs after every patient

  • Common areas are sanitized frequently throughout the day

  • Screening myself prior to arrival at the clinic every day and should I be experiencing symptoms or have been exposed to someone who has tested positive, I will be rescheduling appointments based on the advice of Public Health.

 

You are:

  • Completing the Covid-19 screening questionnaire that is emailed to you 24-hours in advance and should your health status change before your appointment, you will call and reschedule.

  • Wear a mask at all times in the clinic space

  • Sanitize your hands upon arrival and prior to departure

  • Attending your appointment alone unless you are a minor and therefore require a parent, or need help entering and exiting the clinic.

We are:

  • Keeping minimum distance of 2 meters maintained between the client and the practitioner when treatment isn’t being performed

 

We are staying up to date on all current Public Health recommendations and will adjust our policies and procedures as required.
