How do I pay?
Payments are due at the time of your appointment. We accept cash, cheques made out to Body Mechanik Inc or e-transfer to email@example.com.
Please note we do not accept credit or debit.
If you are paying by e-transfer we ask that you transfer the money just prior to your appointment so that we can confirm receipt of the transfer when your appointment is complete.
What are your COVID-19 protocols?
We are following all public health recommendations.

Are you covered by insurance plans?
As a member in good standing with the Ontario Osteopathic Association we provide treatment receipts for insurance reimbursement, however, you need to check with your specific plan and carrier as to your policy details.
We don’t complete or process any paperwork associated with WSIB, disability or MVA claims.
What should I wear at my appointment?
Wear clothing you are comfortable moving in that can stretch, as treatment involves movement of all joints and through different ranges of motion.
Please no jeans or skirts.
There is a washroom across the hall you may use to change before your treatment if needed.
Do you treat children?
Yes! Osteopathy is safe for all ages and life stages.
Assessments for children under 5 are free of charge. Generally speaking to set children up for success it is good to have them seen as early as you feel comfortable bringing them for treatment.
Follow up appointments will be based on a physical assessment but are often booked around major milestones and growth spurts.
What happens if I miss my appointment?
We understand that life gets busy and sometimes things come up, however, know that our day is booked to serve you.
To allow all of our patients to receive equal opportunity to treatment, we ask that if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment you give us 24 hours notice. If 24 hours notice isn’t provided, you will be charged a full visit fee.
To avoid being late, schedule yourself with a few minutes ahead of your appointment time to prepare (remove your shoes, turn off your cell phone, remove belts and extras from your pockets etc.).
If you arrive late to your appointment, only the remaining time in the appointment will be utilized and a full fee will be charged.
Do you treat animals?
Yes! We have additional training to treat large and small animals.
While the anatomy is different in animals, the principles of Osteopathy are the same.

Where do I park?
Area parking is available either in the lot adjacent to our building or on the street.
We cannot guarantee a parking spot in our lot so please ensure you leave extra time should you need to park on the street.
